DESIGNS
One of my most time-consuming hobbies during the last thirty or more
years has been the theatre. I have designed, directed and appeared in a wide variety of
amateur productions, mostly for the Leeds Arts Centre
(see the entry on the Theatre page of the Links section).
As you will see, many of my designs are for plays by William Shakespeare and his contemporaries,
done in the days before it became fashionable to present them in characterless,
grey, modern dress on characterless, grey, sets.
Each page contains information about the play and the production,
together with costume designs, set designs and performance photographs.
