All the links listed in the categories below are to sites that I have found interesting, informative or useful in some way. It is a very personal selection, and the brief reviews of the sites are also very personal. I shall try to keep the lists up to date, and add new links as I discover them and new categories which arouse my interest.

ART Sites dedicated to fantasy art and artists. Some are general sites displaying the work of several atrists, while others are connected with individual artists whose work I admire, and by whom my own work has been influenced.

DIGITAL PAINTING RESOURCES Sites providing free tutorials, textures, brushes and fonts, mainly for Photoshop, but some of them also feature material for an assortment of other digital painting programs.

HISTORY Sites concerned with historical subjects, some covering the general course of world history through to sites concerned with more specific eras or people in British and world history.

MYTH AND LEGEND Sites concerned with a wide variety of myths and legends from various cultures and civilisations around the world and throughout time.

NATURE, WILDLIFE AND EVOLUTION Sites dedicated to an eclectic mixture of subjects related to the history of the natural world and the variety of creatures (including humans) which inhabit it.

SCIENCE FICTION AND FANTASY Sites dedicated to Science Fiction art, films, television programmes and writing, both general and particular, as well as those concerned with creating future worlds.

THEATRE Sites connected with many different aspects of the theatre. Some are dedicated to a particular theatre or theatre group, while others are more general, or devoted to practical aspects of theatre like set and costume design.

WRITING Sites connected with writers whose work I admire and enjoy, and by some of whom my own work has been influenced. There are also links to sites and portals listing online, out-of-copyright books available for free.
