One of Shakespeare's most well-known plays Romeo and Juliet is set in Verona and tells the tragic
story of the two young people whose love is poisoned and finally destroyed by the rivalry between their
two families: the Capulets and The Montagues.

The production was set among pillars, stairs and rostra painted to suggest the sun-drenched stone of Verona.
The clothes were Renaissance in period and the two factions were identified by colours: red and orange for the
Capulets, and blue and green for the Montagues.
